Did Katy Perry Give Adam Lambert the "Kiss of Death"?

Not sure how I missed it, but I just learned that on last Wednesday's American Idol Results show Katy Perry had "Adam Lambert" emblazoned on the back of her cape.

Are we expected to believe that American Idol producers didn't happen to notice this??

And, that followed the previous night when Simon practically "instructed" us to pick up the phone and vote for Adam to assure his place in the finals.

You know, I like Adam. I think he has an amazing voice.

But, like millions of other Americans, I disdain favoritism on what is supposed to be an unbiased competition.

What I'm seeing now reminds me of the way the Eastern European block "judges" vote in the Olympics! It is disgusting there... and it is disgusting now on American Idol.

So, what do you think? Will this blatant favoritism create a backlash AGAINST Adam that end up costing him the competition?

Adam Lambert...or Kris Allen?

Back on April 25th, I told you that Kris Allen was "coming on strong"! Now, it looks like the "dark horse" (as the judges keep calling him!) may just upset Adam (the OBVIOUS judge's favorite).

There is no denying that Adam is extremely talented, but for some reason he keeps reverting to old school 80's rock stuff and just tries to scream everything. And, that version of "One" that the judges just raved over... personally, I thought it sucked!

Now THIS is relevent... THIS is something that America would actually go out and buy:



In my opinion, UNLESS Adam does something like the "Five for Fighting" song that I have posted below... the next American Idol will be Kris Allen!

Yeah, I know this blog was setup about Adam Lambert... but what about that Kris Allen!!??

OMG, is he ever cute! And, not only that, I love his voice, and the way he can take any song and make it his own.

Not to take away from Adam, but watching Adam's stuff is so theatrical. Whereas Kris -- he's just so REAL. (and did I mention, he's cute :-)

Adam on Idol - Love Him... or NOT!

Hey, if you're an American Idol fan, I'm sure you've heard of the new guy Adam, on Idol (American Idol Season 8). For all you uninitiated, that would be Adam Lambert.


Well, Adam seems to evoke pretty strong sentiments -- either you love him or you can't stand him. :-)

Like my husband, John. He walks out of the room whenever Adam comes on. John says he had hoped that 80's rock would never make a comeback.

And, Adam on Idol definitely makes you think of 80's rock! And why not when he's being compared to Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. Even Simon has made this comparison.

There's no doubt the boy can sing!

And, I have to admit, even though I thought he was somewhat of a poser at first, I've come around. After all, not only can he sing -- he's also pretty cute!

So, I thought it's be fun to put this site together, and let people voice their opinion on Adam Lambert.
